Patrice L’Huillier Appointed Chief Executive Officer

Patrice L’Huillier is appointed Chief Executive Officer of NMC for a renewable three-year term, under a performance contract with the Ministry of Mines and Geology. The contract will specify his objectives, the arrangements for evaluating his performance, and his obligations regarding the transfer of skills to Guinean executives.

Patrice L’Huillier was already publicly identified as NMC’s Chief Executive Officer before 23 October 2026. This appointment formalises his mandate and provides continuity in the company’s operational management, with a focus on industrial performance and the development of its teams’ skills.

“The Board’s priority will be to set a clear strategic direction for NMC and oversee its implementation. Our ambition is to support the development of a high-performing national company that creates lasting value for Guinea, with governance that reflects the responsibilities entrusted to it.”
